Rosie Just BUSTED On Multiple Felonies, Illegal Payments Are the LEAST Of Her Worries

Former Hollywood actress Rosie O’Donnell is up to her grinning chin in felonies according to the latest news reports and it seems like her alleged illegal payments are the least of her worries! Rosie generally spends her online time dousing flames on the proverbial fire and trying to torch President Trump and his supporters. She generally fails and is owned by people with very little followers, who are often then called “bots” – but now her alleged felonious behavior might have her paddling up the social creek she can’t handle.
There are currently multiple potential felonies she can possibly be charged with. The first potential crime goes back when the Republican party was working on the tax reform package. Rosie had been posting on Twitter about bribing some of the Republican senators to vote against the bill. Bribery offers, done multiple times, is something that law enforcement can take seriously if they wanted to.

The Daily Wire reported on the criminal aspect of bribery:
“Bribery is illegal under federal law. Here’s the relevant portion of 18 USC §201(b):
Whoever—
(1)directly or indirectly, corruptly gives, offers or promises anything of value to any public official or person who has been selected to be a public official, or offers or promises any public official or any person who has been selected to be a public official to give anything of value to any other person or entity, with intent—
(A) to influence any official act; or
(B) to influence such public official or person who has been selected to be a public official to commit or aid in committing, or collude in, or allow, any fraud, or make opportunity for the commission of any fraud, on the United States; or
(C) to induce such public official or such person who has been selected to be a public official to do or omit to do any act in violation of the lawful duty of such official or person;
…shall be fined under this title or not more than three times the monetary equivalent of the thing of value, whichever is greater, or imprisoned for not more than fifteen years, or both, and may be disqualified from holding any office of honor, trust, or profit under the United States.”
Rosie then had to face the incidents where she donated more than the legal amount to politicians. This was a clear violation of the law, as was the attempt to bribe politicians into voting against the Republican tax reform. Rosie reportedly donated $2,700 more than the legal limit to Doug Jones, an Alabama Senate candidate in 2017, but it appears as though there were multiple incidents she was involved in.
Based on the report from AL.com, it seems like Rosie deflected the blame over to the politicians and people collecting the money. She’s making it seem like if she donated too much, that she expected politicians to refund the money. However, they will likely play the blame game until law enforcement decides who to charge with a crime if they don’t just decide to charge everyone. The blatant disregard for the law is irresponsible and they should be held accountable for it.
AL reported: “Rosie O’Donnell donated $2,700 over the legal limit to then-Alabama Senate candidate Doug Jones’ campaign in 2017 – part of a pattern of the comedian going beyond the $2,700 limit to candidates across the country, the New York Post reported.
Federal Election Commission rules bar individuals from donating more than $2,700 apiece in primaries and general elections per candidate.
O’Donnell gave two donations – one for $2,700 and another for $2,700 -to Jones that she earmarked for the 2017 special election, according to FEC records.
In an interview with the Post, O’Donnell said she was unaware of the law. She said she assumed ActBlue, the Democratic fundraising platform she used to donate to Jones and other Democratic candidates, would not have allowed her to donate more than the limit.
“If 2700 is the cut off — [candidates] should refund the money,” she wrote to the paper. “I don’t look to see who I can donate most to … I just donate assuming they do not accept what is over the limit.”
A Post review of O’Donnell’s contributions found that she gave a combined $5,700 over the FEC limits across five candidates.”
Rosie’s irresponsible behavior and social media antics have her in such a negative spotlight that she may not be able to crawl out of it. She’s not an alleged sexual predator like Harvey Weinstein, but she’s right up there in the ranks of her reputation being dismantled by her own dispicable behavior.
