Donald Trump’s legal team has introduced new evidence aiming to disqualify Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, highlighting Special Prosecutor Nathan Wade’s frequent visits to Willis’ Hapeville residence before his appointment to the Georgia elections interference case. Defense investigators, led by Charles Mittelstadt, analyzed Wade’s AT&T cellphone records using CellHawk, a top-tier law enforcement analytics tool. This analysis revealed over 2,000 voice calls and nearly 12,000 texts between Wade and Willis throughout 2021.
Using a conservative geofence around Willis’ home, the data showed at least 35 instances of Wade’s phone being in prolonged connection with nearby cell towers, suggesting extensive visits. Specifically, on Sept. 11-12 and Nov. 29-30, 2021, Wade’s phone was tracked arriving late at Willis’ address and leaving in the early hours, with communications pinpointed during these times. This detailed tracking raises questions about Wade’s prior claims regarding his time spent at Willis’ home, intensifying scrutiny over their professional and personal relationship.
