Sept. 2 (Bloomberg) — Gene Sperling, director of the White House National Economic Council, talks about the US employment report for August and President Barack Obama’s jobs creation proposal. Payrolls were unchanged last month, the weakest reading since September 2010, after an 85000 gain in July that was smaller than initially estimated, the Labor Department said today in Washington. The jobless rate held at 9.1 percent. Sperling speaks with Betty Liu on Bloomberg Television’s “In the Loop.” Mohamed El-Erian, chief executive officer at Pacific Investment Management Co., also speaks. (Source: Bloomberg)
