Although the book is technically classified as fiction, the basis for its chronology is found in real Sumerian records and accounts of their pantheon of Gods. Sitchin utilized decades of research, translation and interpretation to fill in the gaps of the Anunnaki story as recounted in the historical records of the Sumerians, Babylonians and Akkadians.

New Ancient Egypt Documentary 2019 Do Egyptian Origins Come From the Far East

Could the impossible be proved correct in this new documentary? The Far East origins of the Egyptian civilization may sound outlandish at first, but it stands up to the test after investigation. The ancient Egyptian pyramids may well have derived —in both form and symbolism —from the pyramidal complexes of Indonesia.

The stepped pyramids of Indonesia and Angkor are not only as brilliant as those of Egypt. They come from local traditions like those of the Ramayana and the Mahabharata, which are much older than those of Egypt. The only exception may be the three great pyramids of Giza. But, much evidence points to the fact that they may be of Atlantean origin and far predate the presence of the ancient Egyptians in the region.

Enuma Elish Complete

The Enûma Eliš is the Babylonian creation myth. It was recovered by Austen Henry Layard in 1849 in the ruined Library of Ashurbanipal at Nineveh (Mosul, Iraq).

This version of the Enuma Elish presented here is primarily the translation of E. A. Speiser in Ancient Near Eastern Texts Relating to the Old Testament, 3rd edition, edited by James Pritchard (Princeton, 1969), with modifications based on various other translations such as L. W. King’s, The Seven Tablets of Creation, London 1902. The translation of these texts is not exact. Badly damaged tablets, gaps, and reconstructions prevent 100% accuracy. Moreover, there are differing interpretations of the meaning of words or the reading of the cuneiform itself. In this version, many of the names of the gods are left untranslated.
