Warner Bros. Discovery’s CNN plans to lay off hundreds of employees as it shifts focus toward a global digital audience, according to sources.

These layoffs are part of CNN’s effort to restructure its TV programming and develop new digital subscription products. The cuts aim to reduce production costs and streamline teams, said the sources, who spoke anonymously about the changes.
