Congress Votes 210-206 To Defy Democrats, Puts $15B Back In Taxpayer Hands

Bloated government spending is one of the biggest challenges America faces. And once again, it’s President Trump coming up with ingenious solutions to make our nation great again.

Democrats, and even some Republicans, love spending our money. They claim it’s to help us. But most of the time it does the opposite.

It’s incredible to watch how our government wastes money. There is very little accountability when it comes to government spending. After all, they can write their own checks—out of our pocketbooks. Rarely does our money go to where it counts: like our military or national security.

But it looks like there are a few congressmen who are trying to do the right thing. Donald asked them nicely, and now they recently passed a narrow vote to put billions back into your wallet.

The House narrowly approved a White House plan to cut $15 billion in previously allocated government money late Thursday, a mostly symbolic move designed to demonstrate fiscal discipline in Washington.

The so-called “recissions” package was passed by a vote of 210-206, with 19 Republicans joining 187 Democrats in opposing the measure.

The legislation was embraced by conservative Republicans upset by the March passage of a $1.3 trillion catchall spending bill that they say was too bloated. More pragmatic Republicans on Capitol Hill’s powerful Appropriations panels aren’t keen on the measure since it would eliminate accounting tricks they routinely use to pay for spending elsewhere.

“By voting to rescind these billions in unspent funds, the House supports President Trump’s efforts to eliminate wasteful spending and get our fiscal house back in order,” White House budget director Mick Mulvaney said in a statement. “The first of several recissions proposals, President Trump is using every tool at his disposal to put taxpayers first and drain the swamp.”

With strong opposition from the White House, there’d be no end to government spending. That’s why things were so bad under Obama. He slammed on the gas when it came to government waste. It’s no wonder he doubled our deficit in just eight years.

Trump is an entirely different kind of leader. A good one. He’s not interested in abusing the American taxpayer. He wants to put more of our money back into our pockets. Our president understands—unlike most politicians—that our country thrives when there are fewer taxes and less government waste.

For far too long, Congress has gotten away with a policy of spend, spend, spend. They burn through our tax dollars like a drunk kid on prom night. It never occurs to them to slow down and reduce their waste. Why should they? It’s not like it’s their money.

This recission package will take $15 billion from the government’s greedy hands. Hopefully, it’s a sign that more cuts and reductions will happen in the coming months and years. Perhaps we can get to a place where government bloat and waste is a thing of the past.

We can always hope they start spending our money on protecting Americans and building the wall.

As we look back on the Barack Obama presidency, we start to learn some shocking truths.

Of course, none of these truths would’ve been reported by the mainstream media, and they’re reluctant to address the truth now.

But it remains a fact that our former leader acted in highly questionable ways, and that includes shady dealings with our enemies overseas.

We already know that for whatever reason, Obama appeared to be in bed with Iran.

He was the one who agreed to that ridiculous Nuclear Deal (which Donald Trump recently disposed of, thankfully), and he was the one who helped fund various Iranian activities.

And just this week, we found out the Obama administration secretly snuck around the Iran sanctions, and mysteriously gave them financial aid.

The Associated Press ran a story about a “secret Obama-era permit” that let Iran convert funds to American dollars, and U.S. citizens were just blown away.

This report means Obama essentially gave one of America’s biggest enemies access to our financial system. And now that Trump has learned of it, well…

He’s not happy.

This is what Donald Trump does when he sees a problem. He doesn’t tiptoe around it with politically correct statements. He makes a real move.

And of course, Trump is referring to Robert Mueller’s special counsel, the “13 Angry Democrats” who are investigating Donald over the fictitious Russia conspiracy.

It’d be a better idea for Mueller and his team to stop the leftist-fueled witch hunt and actually go after the facts, even if their savior, Barack Obama, is in the crosshairs.

The leader of the free world snuck around and gave Iran financial aid, and let them convert the funds to American dollars. …why? And why should we just ignore it?

We shouldn’t. Trump is right: “Investigate!”

Maybe we’ll finally get some answers concerning Obama’s strange secrecy … and expose the dark truth about his presidency once and for all.

North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un fears being assassinated during his upcoming summit with President Donald Trump in Singapore, his furthest foreign trip since he came to power, according to a report published by Bloomberg on Thursday, Breitbart reports.

According to sources who spoke with Bloomberg, “U.S. officials believe Kim is extremely worried about security at the summit and is fearful of assassination attempts.”

Trump has been advised not to offer Kim any concessions, as the White House seeks to put the onus on the North Koreans to make the summit a success, one U.S. official said. The president is determined to walk out of the meeting if it doesn’t go well, two officials said. Alternatively, Trump is toying with the idea of offering Kim a follow-up summit at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida — perhaps in the fall — if the two men hit it off.

“There could be more than one meeting, more that one conversation” between Trump and Kim, presidential counselor Kellyanne Conway told reporters Wednesday, adding a nuclear deal may take “2, 3, 4, 5” meetings, Bloomberg reports.

The U.S. wants to see “complete, verifiable and irreversible denuclearization” of the Korean Peninsula. Known in the arms-control world as “CVID,” this would involve dismantling North Korea’s nuclear program and stripping Kim of the ability to make nuclear bombs in the future.

North Korea has promised for years that they would never give up their weapons, nukes and ICBM’s.

As for being concerned about being assassinated, he should be more concerned that he will held accountable for the genocide of his own people and threatening the United States with nuclear war and the threats to commit mass murder of U.S. citizens.

If it were left up to me, there would be 0 mercy and 0 chance of “peace” talks, he and his regime would be held accountable by The Hague.

House Vote Just Placed Mueller’s WITCH-HUNT in the Crosshairs

The House voted today and dealt a blow to the Mueller witch-hunt, which has taken a lot of hits lately.

Inching us one-step closer to the end, the House voted to AUDIT special counsel Robert Mueller’s sham of a probe.
The language was attached to a vet/military construction and energy water bill, slotted for a Friday vote.

The bill will now allow review of Mueller’s expenditures and hold him accountable for the taxpayer dollars he’s BLOWING through.
The House voted Friday to audit special counsel Robert Mueller’s team to see how he’s spending money as he investigates alleged collusion between Russia and President Trump’s campaign.

Lawmakers voted 207-201 to attach the language to a veterans, military construction, and energy and water spending bill that was headed to pass Friday.

Rep. Mark Meadows, R-N.C., has been pushing for an audit of the Mueller probe in part because he is seeking information about the scope of the investigation. His amendment “reestablishes a semiannual Government Accountability Office financial review of obligated expenditures” from Mueller’s office.

It would also require GAO to turn over the audits to House committees, including the Judiciary and Government Oversight panels.

“It’s time for Congress to act to restore this key oversight provision,” Meadows said. He is a senior member of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee that would receive the audit.

Republican lawmakers have been at odds with the Department of Justice over a memo Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein wrote to Mueller last summer that provided the parameters of the Trump-Russia probe. The department has refused requests to turn over the memo, arguing earlier this month that doing so would “threaten the integrity” of the investigation.

The Justice Department reported in December that Mueller had spent nearly $7 million on the first four months of the investigation.

The Times of Israel reports: Ismail Haniyeh, the Gaza leader of the Hamas terror group’s political bureau, said Thursday that Palestinian protesters will “bring down the walls” surrounding the Strip during mass demonstrations expected on the border Friday, Breitbart reports.

The weekly massive protests have been held on the border since March 30, and have included violent riots, attempts to breach the security fence and the sending of hundreds of flaming kites and balloons over the border, starting countless fires that have destroyed large swaths of land.

Under the banner of “March of Return,” more than 110 Palestinians have been killed in mass violent clashes with Israeli security forces — most of them members of terror organizations, according to the Palestinian groups themselves.

Israel says the mass demonstrations are being orchestrated by Hamas as cover for the attempted attacks and breaches of the border fence, Jewish News reports.

On Friday, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani heads to China for an economic and security summit in the coastal city of Qingdao, where he is expected to hold talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping on bilateral relations, and the future of the nuclear deal.

Amid rising anti-Iran sentiments from the West, analysts said, the meeting between Rouhani and Xi presents an opportunity for Tehran to further cement its economic and political ties with Beijing, and for China to reinforce its growing geopolitical influence in the region, Al Jazeera News reported.
