They also managed to build enormous cities beneath the desert sands of the Sahara. How did they achieve such monumental feats, without the use of modern technology? One answer suggests they had technology that we know nothing about, one that has since become lost.

Massive perfectly cut walls, cave systems that look as though they were cut with a laser, and enormous megaliths are just some of the mysterious discoveries made of the continent of South America. Archaeologists have been looking closely at these discoveries for decades, but they are providing so many question, one starts to wonder is they will ever truly find the answers they have been searching for.

Some pretty amazing ruins have been found on the Asian Continent over the years. Some of them, like the Gunung Padang Pyramid and the Basalt ruins of Nan Madol rank amongst the most mysterious ever discovered and leave us struggling to explain how, when, or why they were built. There are also several caves that look like they may have been carved by some sort of advanced technology. This leads us to wonder, who was on the Asian continent long before modern civilization began.

Thousands of years after they were built there is still no satisfying explanations for the construction works we are going to look at here. Their age, construction method, and purpose are just three of the things that have caused heated debate over the years, but there are many more. For instance, we still don’t know who built these huge pyramids, carved enormously long underground passages, or erected their enormous temples. These submerged ruins have completely changed how we view the ancient world due to their age and the depth at which they were discovered. Right up until they were found no one even believed they could exist.
