A recent global survey of healthcare workers found that 73 percent of workers in critical care report experiencing violence in the past year, and a quarter of them are willing to leave their jobs because of it. In a new Opinion Video, hospital staff argue violent attacks at work are keeping them from doing the job they love. “I’m here to care for you, not to be your punching bag,” Amal Hussein, a hospital employee, said.
