The President was also impeached on the charge of Obstruction of Congress (whatever the hell that means as well), in which all 53 Republicans found him not guilty and the remaining 47 benighted Senators voted to convict. As President Gerald Ford intoned, “My fellow Americans, our long national nightmare is over … Our Constitution works; our great Republic is a government of laws and not of men.” Now, it’s vengeance time.
