Thoth’s Two Forbidden Emerald Tablets

The Emerald Tablets of Thoth the Atlantean is technically a modern-day text first appearing nearly a century ago. It is often confused with The Emerald Tablet, also known as the Smaragdine Tablet or the Tabula Smaragdina which is at least 1300 years old. Although one of these texts has a modern inception and the other is very ancient, they both relate to the same historical figure – Hermes Trismegistus.

By far the most common question asked on the Archive’s ‘The Emerald Tablets of Thoth’ video concerns the two forbidden tablets referenced in the preface. Doreal explains that ten tablets were left in the Great Pyramid in the custody of the pyramid priests. Apparently, he divided those ten tablets into thirteen parts for the sake of convenience. Which likely was an effort to keep the topics somewhat self-contained. The true enigma begins when he reveals that the last two are so great and far-reaching in their import that at present it is forbidden to release them to the world at large.
