A woman in Tennessee who posted an obvious “warning” for her thug ex-boyfriend to stay away after he assaulted her was forced to make a difficult decision when he showed up to brutalize her again. This punk had to pay!
Criminals are often said to be among the dumbest people in our country, and a report emerging out of McMinn County, Tennessee, is a good example of how mentally challenged they can be. It also confirms the sad truth that many times, when an innocent victim is beaten or murdered at home, the perpetrator is someone they know.
According to local news source WTVC, a thug that the McMinn County Sheriff’s Office has identified as 37-year-old Reginald Moten decided he was going to intrude on his ex-girlfriend’s home. There, he learned a brutal lesson about putting his hands on a woman. Police said that the victim who lives at a residence on Road 26 near Calhoun was assaulted by Moten, whom she once dated, early Saturday morning just before 1 a.m. on May 19, 2018.
McMinn County Sheriff Joe Guy said that 35-year-old Kandi Burnette was confronted by Moten in her home before he brutally assaulted her. However, this will likely be the last time Moten makes the mistake of putting his hands on any woman. The fed-up victim was able to reach her firearm and turned Moten into a human sprinkler. Coincidentally, the following photo was uploaded to Facebook by Burnette on April 16, possibly as a warning to her psychotic ex-boyfriend. Apparently, he didn’t get the hint.
That looks like a pretty decent grouping if you ask me. I’d say that Burnette meant business, and perhaps teaching her violent ex-boyfriend a lesson was long overdue. In my opinion, Reginald Moten had it coming and should have never laid a hand on any woman.
According to Sheriff Guy, “It appears that a female at the residence had recently left her boyfriend Reginal Moten and had recently obtained arrest warrants and an order of protection against him for a previous domestic assault.” Guy added, “Around 1 a.m., Moten came to the residence in violation of the order, and it appears he again assaulted the woman, who then shot Moten several times. He sustained serious injuries and was transported to a Chattanooga hospital.” Guy also said, “Moten still will face the previous charges, and now will be likely be charged with violating the order of protection and the assault once he is out of the hospital,” according to the Times Free Press.
What an epic turn of events. This thug thought he was going to violate the sovereignty of the woman’s home and brutalize her again. In return for his violent behavior, Moten left the residence on a gurney with a considerable amount of “lead poisoning.” In my book, that’s considered good gun control. The victim had every right to drop Moten’s worthless butt to the floor. I wonder what was going through his simple mind as he waited for the paramedics to come and stop him from bleeding out on his ex-girlfriend’s floor. In my opinion, Moten got exactly what he deserved for assaulting an innocent woman.
This wasn’t the first time Moten had committed a serious crime. According to the Times Free Press, McMinn County General Sessions Court officials said that Moten was charged on November 20, 2017, with aggravated domestic assault, domestic assault, aggravated criminal trespassing, vandalism, and theft. In addition, Moten pleaded guilty on January 4 of this year to domestic assault and vandalism, while the remaining charges were dismissed.
Every week, thugs like Reginald Moten commit violent home invasions where they brutally beat, rob, rape, or murder innocent people. The stories of homeowners who suffer horrifically in a home invasion far outnumber the stories where the intruder leaves in an ambulance like Moten did. The reality is that the public doesn’t often hear about the law-abiding gun owners who fight back because the mainstream media doesn’t want that information out there.
Liberals and their lapdog media would rather gun owners be ignored if possible or vilified strictly because they don’t support the left’s anti-2nd Amendment agenda. That’s why it’s important for American patriots to share stories like Kandi Burnette’s. She empowered herself and fought back when she had no other choice. For her, owning a gun meant not being assaulted by her deranged ex-boyfriend. Clearly, Reginald Moten is a bottom feeder and should remain behind bars where he can’t harm anyone else.
Once again, the 2nd Amendment pulls its own weight. A woman in McMinn County, Tennessee, is alive and well because of her decision to exercise her right to bear arms. It’s very likely that her family would be visiting her in the hospital or planning a funeral if she had not decided to keep a firearm ready in the event that her creep of an ex-boyfriend came back around.
