Media Virtually Silent as Hundreds of Students ‘Walk Out’ to Protest Abortion

Did you know that hundreds of students walked out of class in support of pro-life?

Probably not, since our biased liberal media decided to hardly touch the story.

Granted, the walkout was not nearly as big as the anti-gun protest, but surely the lying mainstream media could have at least covered it with some amount of gusto?

Hundreds of students across the United States walked out of their classrooms Wednesday to protest abortion, but where was the press coverage?

Certainly, it wasn’t nearly as widespread as the March for Our Lives in late March, but it could have garnered at least some mainstream media attention.

This week, students in more than 350 pro-life groups across the country walked out to protest and pray for 17 minutes, honoring “the 10 children who will violently die during that time at a Planned Parenthood abortion facility,” the pro-life group Live Action reported.

Brandon Gillespie, a student at Rocklin High School in California, planned the nationwide demonstration in March “to honor all the lives of aborted babies.” At the time, Gillespie said he wanted to organize the protest to determine “if there really is a double standard and what will come of that.”

Just ahead of Wednesday’s protest — which garnered little national attention from legacy media — Gillespie told Students for Life there is a “double standard.”

“They are not giving me any accommodation at all,” he explained, “except for the district policy of not punishing students for protesting.”

Gillespie added:

“That is not the accommodation that I asked for. I asked for the same accommodation as the anti-gun protest, that teachers would be flexible [with] their lesson planning, and also for the availability of equipment that the anti-gun protestors were allowed to use.”

“I really was not surprised when they told me that they were not going to give me the accommodations,” the student concluded. “It just confirms for me that there is a political double standard, at least in my school district.”

Attorneys with the Life Legal Defense Foundation reached out to the California school, accusing administrators of “content discrimination and arbitrary favoritism” that “violates the First Amendment and the equal protection rights of every student participating in the pro-life walkout.”

As for press coverage, an analysis by the right-leaning Media Research Center determined the big three networks — CBS, ABC, and NBC — “never once” mentioned the anti-abortion protest. Those same networks, the MRC concluded, devoted “more than 10 minutes to the gun walkout” on the evening of March 24.

Salahuddin,IRAQ — Over twenty people were killed, injured in bomb blasts that took place, north of Salahuddin, officials reported on Thursday, Iraqi News reports.

In a statement, Ali Dawdah, mayor of Shirqat, said, “ten people were killed, while 14 others were wounded as explosives went off while digging up tombs on Wednesday night. The bombs were planted in a grave in Asdeira village in western Shirqat, north of Salahuddin.”
It’s not quite clear why they were digging up tombs in the middle of the night but it obviously wasn’t a good idea.

Meanwhile a security source told Baghdad Today website that eight people were killed and injured as Islamic State militants attacked a village, northeast of Salahuddin, a security source said on Thursday.

“Islamic State members attacked Asdeira village, leaving four people killed and four others wounded,” he said.

Also, a mass grave containing human remains of burnt bodies has been found, north of Ramadi, Anbar Operations Command announced on Thursday.

“Troops of the army’s tenth division, affiliated to Anbar Operations Command, ran into a mass grave containing remains of unidentified burnt bodies inside a house in al-Tarabisha region, north of Ramadi,” a senior source from the command told AlSumaria News.

“The bodies have not been recognized yet; whether they are civilians or members of the Islamic State militant group,” the source, who preferred anonymity, added.

Thankfully there were no explosives at the site.

Thousands of ISIS militants as well as Iraqi civilians were killed since the government campaign, backed by paramilitary troops and the coalition was launched in October 2016 to fight the militant group, which declared a self-styled “caliphate” from Mosul in June 2014.

A total of 104 Iraqi civilians and policemen were killed, while 177 others were injured in acts of terrorism, violence and armed conflict in Iraq in March, according to casualty figures by the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI).

As many as 3,298 civilians were killed and 4,781 others were wounded in 2017, excluding Anbar civilian casualty figures for November and December, which are not available, UNAMI said in a report in December.

In December, Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi announced full liberation of Iraqi lands, declaring end of war against ISIS members.

One of the greatest contrasts between President Obama and President Trump? How they use their Presidential authority. Obama abused his executive orders to push through his agenda. He would not like to work with Congress. It was an undeniable and blatant violation of as far as possible on control.

White House chief of staff John Kelly said Tuesday that President Trump is unlikely to extend the deadline for work permits under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program on March 5 if Congress has not reached a deal on immigration by that date.

Kelly told reporters on Capitol Hill that he was “not so sure” that Trump had the authority to extend the deadline because the program was not based on law, The Washington Post reported.

Work permits for DACA recipients will begin to expire on that date due to Trump’s decision to rescind DACA in September with a six-month delay.

“There are 690,000 official DACA recipients and the president sent over what amounts to be two and a half times that number, to 1.8 million,” Kelly continued. “The difference between 690 and 1.8 million were the people that some would say were too afraid to sign up, others would say were too lazy to get off their asses, but they didn’t sign up.”

Obama terribly overstepped his limits when he issued DACA. He declined to work with Congress to give an enduring solution (legitimately and inside the limits Constitution). It’s the reason we are confronting the issues we have today. Obama’s fretfulness and short-sidedness left us with the present emergency.

Trump isn’t Obama. He’s not intrigued by driving issues to get his own particular way. He wants lasting fixes for our sickly nation. That implies inspiring Congress to draft an immigration solution that will work. Also, keep on working for a long time. Not at all like DACA, which was a poor, here and now Band-Aid.

Yet, will Congress be sufficiently capable to make that fix? President Trump laid out his goals in the SOTU address. It’s dependent upon Republicans in Congress to draft up a bill to fit his vision. James Comey Drops Bomb In Shocking New Book

Former FBI Director James Comey just reemerged to make some shocking claim about President Donald Trump’s White House.

Daily Mail reported that Comey claims that White House Chief of Staff John Kelly called him after Trump fired him to say that the president “dishonorable” leader. Comey claimed that Kelly was “emotional” when he called him minutes after his firing to say that he was “sick” over what Trump did.

In his upcoming book, Comey alleged that Kelly said he “intended to quit” in response and “said he didn’t want to work for dishonorable people,” referring to Trump.

Comey’s book “A Higher Loyalty” is set to hit stores on Tuesday, and it is believed to be full of indictments on Trump. A senior White House official has already denied that the events Comey described ever took place. The official said that Kelly has told other White House staffers that the call with Comey only lasted one minute, and the chief of staff only recalls telling the fired FBI director, “I don’t know why you got fired, [and] best of luck to you.” He has no memory of calling Trump “dishonorable.”

Republicans have started a website to discredit Comey called www.LyinComey.com. This site outlines exactly why Comey has no credibility and is solely out for revenge on Trump.
“No matter what his grandstanding book says, Comey has already confirmed multiple times under oath that neither President Trump nor his staff asked him to stop the Russia investigation,” the website said.

While there have been rumors in the past that Trump and Kelly have not seen eye to eye at times, we find it very hard to believe that the chief of staff would go to this great lengths to slam the president to someone who he had just fired.
