Hillary In Hiding After What Comey Let Slip During Heated Appearance On ‘The View’

Former FBI Director James Comey appeared on “The View” on Wednesday to strum up more liberal sympathy as he tries to play the martyr. What he ended up letting slip during the heated appearance, however, sent Hillary Clinton into hiding.

Former Secretary of State and twice-failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is undoubtedly ready for all of the controversy surrounding the investigation into her use of a private email server to go away. This was an egregious crime, though, especially for one of the most powerful officials in the U.S. government — it’s not going to just go away.

Hillary may have been cleared by the FBI after putting national security at risk through her use of a private server, but questions still remain with regards to whether or not justice was served and why she would do something so incredibly stupid. Why put sensitive government secrets at risk if you’re not trying to hide something?
Crooked Hillary was unable to escape the discussion surrounding her private server and the investigation into her crime on Wednesday when former FBI director James Comey appeared on “The View,” in part to hock his new book. Hillary infamously blamed Comey for her humiliating election loss after President Donald Trump took the White House, despite the fact that nearly every single media outlet predicted he would not.

Hillary Clinton … cast blame for her surprise election loss on the announcement by the F.B.I. director, James B. Comey, days before the election that he had revived the inquiry into her use of a private email server.

In her most extensive remarks since she conceded the race to Donald J. Trump … Mrs. Clinton told donors on a 30-minute conference call that Mr. Comey’s decision to send a letter to Congress about the inquiry 11 days before Election Day had thrust the controversy back into the news and had prevented her from ending the campaign with an optimistic closing argument.

“There are lots of reasons why an election like this is not successful,” Mrs. Clinton said, according to a donor who relayed the remarks. But, she added, “our analysis is that Comey’s letter raising doubts that were groundless, baseless, proven to be, stopped our momentum.” [Source: The New York Times]

Hillary Clinton surely was not happy to see her nemesis James Comey being fawned over by the women of “The View” on Wednesday. According to The Daily Caller, Comey ended his appearance on “The View” by saying he “can’t answer” if “Hillary Clinton got justice” in 2016.
“After everything,” host Whoopi Goldberg began as she posed a question to Comey near the end of the broadcast, asking, “do you think Hillary Clinton got justice?”

“In the sense of — from the FBI and the Justice Department?” Comey responded. “I think she did. Whether in a broader sense if she was treated fairly? I can’t answer. That’s a serious question.”

Just a few minutes later, Comey stated that if he “could say one thing to Hillary Clinton, it would be” to read the two chapters in his book that revolve around her. “I know you feel I have shivved you,” he said. “But I think you may feel differently if you read those two chapters.” He also requested that President Donald Trump read the book.
Of course, Whoopi asking if Hillary ultimately got justice is quite the loaded question and anyone who thought James Comey might have answered it objectively is smoking something. If justice were truly served, Hillary wouldn’t have just lost the presidential election in 2016, she would have been thrown behind bars for her many crimes. After all, government employees guilty of far less have been made to serve time.

James Comey is a slimeball trying to save what is left of his reputation and earning potential via a salacious new book, even though his credibility is shot. I’ve got news for him, President Donald Trump isn’t going to be reading any of it — he’s too busy draining the swamp, of which Comey was a part for decades.

Jerry Brown Claims No Evidence His Policies Help Criminal Illegals, Gets Brutal Response

California’s Governor Jerry Brown recently tried to tell a group of reporters that his policies don’t help criminal illegal aliens. That’s when Fox News reporter Griff Jenkins spanked him with a brutal response, and it was all caught on video.

Jerry Brown has come under fire recently for waffling on his pledge to send National Guard troops in response to President Donald Trump’s call for border security. In a letter that he sent to Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen and Secretary of Defense James Mattis, on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, Brown pledged 400 troops as one of the border state governors whom Trump had asked for help.

The troops Brown had initially pledged were to help in an ongoing program to combat transnational gangs, drug smugglers, and human traffickers. However, included in his letter were Brown’s wishes that California guardsmen not be used in enforcing federal immigration laws.
“This will not be a mission to build a new wall,” Brown wrote. “It will not be a mission to round up women and children or detain people escaping violence and seeking a better life. And the California National Guard will not be enforcing federal immigration laws,” Brown added, according to Daily Caller.

According to C-Span, On April 17, 2018, Brown spoke at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., where he got hit with a direct question over the destructive effects of his open-borders policy. Fox News reporter Griff Jenkins had the honor of humiliating Brown over California’s sanctuary state law SB-54 on Tuesday.

“The leaders of these local communities — from mayors to sheriffs — are saying that your law favors the rights of criminal illegal aliens over the rights and the safety of those communities. Your response,” Jenkins said.

“Absolutely false. I’d like to see a scintilla of evidence that would support such an outlandish Fox proposition,” Brown shot back, blasting Fox News. “We’ve heard of fake news, we have Fox News too,” an obviously annoyed Brown further responded.
This is when Jenkins took him to the mat. “That’s not a Fox proposition. The Director of ICE, David Marin in L.A., said that the 6-year-old girl in February that was killed in Fullerton, Grace Aguilar, he says that, before your law SB-54, would have been prevented,” Jenkins said.

“That illegal criminal alien had previous DUIs and would have been handed over and that might not have happened,” Jenkins added. This was the moment Brown had wished would not come. How could he possibly have defended his position after Jenkins smoked him with the facts? The truth is, Brown is just a lame as California’s SB-54 sanctuary state law.

After the press conference was over, Jenkins pursued Brown for a couple more questions that the California liberal wasn’t ready for. “Would you consider, if you keep seeing the growing backlash against the law, that maybe a line has been crossed. Are you open to change?” Jenkins asked.

Brown began lying in front of the camera immediately. “Well look, this was a carefully drawn statute that was radically changed from its original introduction,” Brown said. If he were telling the truth, he would have mentioned that Republican lawmakers in California and many law enforcement agencies within the state warned Sacramento liberals not to pass SB-54.
Brown went on to attempt to defend California’s sanctuary state law. “But, no law is perfect. In some ways, these lawsuits will help clarify it. I think it’s pretty close to what it ought to be, but we’ll see what the judges say, and if the cities want to come in that’s fine, but let’s be honest, there’s a lot of politics in this on all sides. I tried to carve a path down the middle to respect our immigrants, to respect our border and to respect our law,” Brown claimed.

Jenkins’ next question was brutal. “What do you say to the families of victims of criminal illegal aliens who say that had the law not been in place they would have these crimes?”

Brown’s only defense was to start attacking Fox News. “I think Fox News exploits this issue. We have criminals that do horrible things all the time. Which ones might be documented, which ones aren’t, I’ll be glad to look at that,” Brown said.
“We have a very strong law enforcement community in the state, and I think to scapegoat the immigrants by these biased stories … With all due respect, I want to protect people and for you to say that we don’t care about victims is really a calamity,” Governor Jerry Brown concluded before stomping off in frustration.

Thousands of U.S. Marines arrived in Jordan at around the same time the United States, the United Kingdom, and France were organizing a direct military strike on Jordan’s neighbor, Syria. Shortly after the US-led bombing of Syria over alleged chemical weapons use, the Marine took part in military drills.

According to Antimedia, nearly 3,600 U.S. troops, including roughly 1,800 Marines with the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit, arrived in Jordan for the start of an almost two-week training exercise known as Eager Lion.

Thousands of Marines and U.S. troops kicked off a major military training exercise that is reportedly set to include civilian evacuation operations, as well as chemical and biological drills. The drills followed the U.S.-led Anglo-alliance’s assault on neighboring Syria, which was allegedly in retaliation for a chemical attack in the Syrian city of Douma.
It will be a rare display of allied firepower, reported the Marine Corps Times. It also couldn’t come at a more tense time as U.S. Navy warships are steadily building a presence in the Mediterranean in preparation for what analysts presume will be a Tomahawk cruise missile strike on Syria.

Last year, satellite photos indicating a massive buildup of military armored vehicles sent alarm bells through Iran, Syria’s ally in its nearly eight-year civil war, prompting media speculation about a pending invasion. The build-up was nothing more than the start of Eager Lion. Eager Lion was then launched from the Zarqa Jordanian military base, located near the Syrian border and roughly 100 miles from the Syrian capital of Damascus. The exercise has routinely been viewed as a pretext for an invasion of Syria by analysts and countries aligned with the Syrian regime.

“Eager Lion is a major training event that provides U.S. forces and Jordan Armed Forces the opportunity to improve their collective ability to plan and operate in a coalition-type environment,” according to a press release from U.S. Central Command published April 2nd. “A wide variety of scenarios – from long-range bomber missions to maritime security operations to a ground force attack of a fictitious adversary – will occur throughout Jordan during the event.”

Departing Augusta Bay, Italy, just before the US-led attack was the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock New York which has onboard Marines and Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron VMM 162 (Reinforced), according to a post from the 26th MEU’s Facebook page.

While the media delivered a stunning performance on its coverage of Trump’s strikes on the Syrian government, as the Marine Corps Times notes, “little has been made of the fact that thousands of U.S. and Jordanian troops will be training a short skip away from the Syrian border with armored vehicles and military aircraft.”

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell flat-out rebuked Congressional Democrats Tuesday; announcing he has no plans to introduce legislation to the Senate floor to “protect” Robert Mueller from being fired.

According to the Associated Press, McConnell was speaking with Fox News when he outright rejected Sen. Chuck Schumer’s demand that the special counsel be immune from removal by the President, saying “we’ll not be having” a vote anytime soon.

“We’ll not be having this on the floor of the Senate,” McConnell said on Fox News.

His remarks come just days after lawmakers introduced legislation to ensure the special counsel continue his nearly year-long probe; regardless of future developments and potential staff shake-ups inside the Department of Justice.
“I think having Congress tell him what we believe he should do in this case is simply poking the bear, and I’d just prefer not to do that,” said GOP Sen. Mike Rounds.

Trump has also privately pondered firing Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who is overseeing Mueller’s investigation.

Within a day of Trump’s criticism, Republicans Thom Tillis of North Carolina and Lindsey Graham of South Carolina combined two bills they introduced last summer to protect special counsels. They introduced the new bill along with Democratic Sens. Chris Coons of Delaware and Cory Booker of New Jersey, and Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley, a Republican, announced that his committee would vote on the bill.

The legislation would give any special counsel a 10-day window to seek expedited judicial review of a firing, and would put into law existing Justice Department regulations that require a firing to be for “good cause.”

Democrats immediately jumped on the legislation, but many Republicans have been cool to it.

At least three of the 11 GOP members of the Judiciary panel have said they will vote against it and another five have said they have questions about its constitutionality. Grassley is one of those with concerns, but said he felt obligated to hold a vote.

Republicans off the committee had questions too — and some acknowledged that it could be politically difficult.

The retailer said Tuesday that it is in the process of destroying all the firearms it pulled from its shelves, rather than trying to return them to their manufacturers, Local 10 News reports.
Dicks made headlines in February when, in the aftermath of the massacre at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, it banned the sale of assault-style rifles and the sale of all guns to anyone under 21. Other retailers followed suit, including Walmart, which also raised its minimum-age rules for firearms.

Dick’s is based in the Pittsburgh area. The company’s decision to destroy the guns was first reported by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Boston CBS reports.

On Feb. 28, 2018, the Pittsburgh-based company announced it would immediately stop selling assault-style rifles and ban the sale of all guns to anyone under 21. It was not immediately clear how many firearms will be destroyed.
