Migrant Caravan Grinds To A Halt As US Throws Up A Major Legal Stumbling Block

The United States is constantly fighting to keep illegal aliens out, especially with Donald Trump at the helm.

But we can’t do it all on our own. Other countries should play their role in upholding the law as well.

The migrant caravan that just recently arrived at our southern border is a perfect example of more illegals attempting to exploit loopholes in the system.

Many will be seeking asylum in this country, for example. But Homeland Security Defense Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen has some bad news for them:

She says they can’t approach America until they’ve been granted asylum in another safe country.
This is a very big deal, America!

“Individuals of the ‘caravan’ seeking asylum or other similar claims should seek protections in the first safe country they enter, including Mexico,” Nielsen said in an April 25 statement.

The statement spotlights the administration’s legal defenses against the roughly 1,000 caravan migrants trying to get through the legal loopholes in the border wall.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions used similar language in an April 23 statement about the caravan migrants, saying ‘these individuals—and their smugglers—ignored the willingness of the Mexican government to allow them to stay in Mexico.’”
This could help U.S. immigration judges quickly reject migrants’ requests to file asylum claims in this country and Mexico DOES offer asylum to individuals from Central America, as do other safe countries.

If the legal process can actually begin elsewhere, it would save America millions of dollars and hundreds of useless man hours, which is a gigantic benefit.

Furthermore, and most importantly, this legal roadblock means if the migrants don’t get asylum in another safe country first, they absolutely cannot get into the U.S. And that would be a huge stumbling block!

It would slow their advance at the very least and at best, it would keep many illegals out of the U.S. entirely.

That right there is the perfect solution, provided we can get this to happen. And aren’t we all tired of the endless flow of illegals, fellow citizens?

The severed heads of two unidentified women have investigators searching for a possible link between the gruesome findings.

The severed heads were discovered 150 miles apart in plastic bags near lakes and RV parks.

Volunteer cleanup crews discovered the first severed head in a large black plastic bag on March 24 on the rocks of Lake Houston, the Houston Chronicle reported. Forensic analysis released on April 5 by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences described the victim as a white or Hispanic woman, between young adulthood and middle aged, with brown or reddish hair around 3 to 4 inches.

The second head, found about 150 miles away near Calcasieu Lake in Louisiana, was discovered on March 1 by a prison inmate doing cleanup in a grassy marsh near the lake, also in a small plastic bag, the Chronicle reported.
FOX News reports that forensic analysis found that this victim had similar traits of the other, including brown or reddish hair, around 10 to 12 inches, and being between 25 and 40 years old.

The officers are looking for a man in his early to mid-20s who was seen about 2:30 to 3 p.m. throwing a black plastic bag off the bridge near where the head was found, two weeks prior to the discovery.

The man, described as having short dark brown hair with long bangs, was seen getting out of the front passenger side of a teal or a bluish green Chevrolet Silverado extended cab truck. He is about 5-foot-4 to 5-foot-8 tall and has light skin. The truck was rusted and appeared to have been in several wrecks. The back left passenger window was missing and was covered by what looked like cardboard.

Police have acknowledged that the cases have strong similarities and the Cameron Parish Sheriff’s Office in Louisiana and the Houston Police are sharing information to determine if there is a link.

Let’s hope the police catch this monster ASAP.

Sarah’s Kids Crash White House Press Conference, Her Reaction Is Pure Class

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was taking questions on Thursday when two of her children crashed her press conference. However, as always, her reaction was nothing but pure class.

Thursday was national “Take Your Child to Work Day” and countless Americans from sea to shining sea participated by bringing their kids with them to experience a typical day at their workplaces. Even high-profile members of the Trump administration took part.

According to The Daily Caller, President Donald Trump spent time with the kids of the White House staff and press corps on Thursday as part of national “Take Your Child to Work Day.” The president and the children first spent time in the Rose Garden where he signed “Make America Great Again” hats for kids and autographed their White House press cards, before inviting them to check out the Oval Office.
“They are very well-behaved,” Trump said of the kids before asking them if they were ready to see the Oval Office. “Should we leave your parents out here? Do you want your parents in the Oval Office or out?”

“OUT!” the kids shouted.

“Let’s go to the Oval Office,” Trump exclaimed.
“Honestly, the children ask me better questions, if you want to know the truth,” Trump joked. “Your parents are being very nice right now, I can’t believe it! Because they don’t want to embarrass themselves in front of you. You understand that? They’re being so nice I can’t believe it.”

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders celebrated national “Take Your Child to Work Day” on Thursday, as well, by bringing her two kids with her to the White House briefing room.
Sarah Sanders is the first mother to ever hold the position of White House press secretary. A new report revealed that she stops what she’s doing and says a prayer before every press briefing.

According to Politico, “Before every briefing, Sanders prays and reads from a book of devotions in her office overlooking the White House lawn. Artwork by her children hangs on a board behind her desk, and across the room is a shelf with a few books, including The Christian Life and Character and Gone With the Wind. She’s the first mother to serve in the job, and nearly everyone who deals with her marvels at her ability to balance work and life.”

A photo of House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, taken on “Take Your Child to Work Day” 2017, showed children looking as though they were having considerably less fun than they did with Sanders and the president, but can you blame them?
It seemed fitting that “Take Your Child to Work Day” fell on the same date as First Lady Melania Trump’s 48th birthday. Melania has a deep passion for children, so she was undoubtedly thrilled to see all of the smiling little faces at the White House on Thursday. The Trump administration did a fantastic job hosting children at the People’s House this week! The young boys and girls were truly given the opportunity of a lifetime to visit with the president and his legendary spokeswoman.

House panel’s Russia report finds ‘no evidence’ of collusion, Trump says probe ‘MUST END NOW’

The House Intelligence Committee on Friday declared that it found “no evidence” of collusion between the Russian government and Trump campaign during the 2016 presidential election, releasing a heavily redacted final report on its yearlong Russia investigation.

The Republican-authored report — released over Democratic objections — stated the committee “found no evidence that the Trump campaign colluded, coordinated, or conspired with the Russian government.” The committee did, however, “find poor judgment and ill-considered actions by the Trump and Clinton campaign.”

President Trump, reacting to the report moments after its release, hailed its findings and said the Russia “Witch Hunt” must end, in an apparent swipe at Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s ongoing investigation.

“Just Out: House Intelligence Committee Report released. ‘No evidence’ that the Trump Campaign “colluded, coordinated or conspired with Russia.’ Clinton Campaign paid for Opposition Research obtained from Russia-Wow! A total Witch Hunt! MUST END NOW!” Trump tweeted.
The more than 250-page report was heavily blacked out, however, and the leader of the committee investigation slammed the intelligence community for their “overzealous redactions.”

“I am extremely disappointed with the overzealous redactions made by the IC. Many of the redactions include information that is publicly available, such as witness names and information previously declassified,” Rep. Mike Conaway, R-Texas, complained in a statement Friday.

“I will continue to challenge the IC’s many unnecessary redactions with the hopes of releasing more of the report in the coming months.”

The committee’s investigation focused on several topics: Russian meddling in the 2016 U.S. election, the U.S. government’s response to the attack, links between Russians and the Trump and Clinton campaigns, and purported leaks of classified information.

The investigation found that Russia’s “increasingly aggressive cyber operations” would “continue to present a profound threat,” while noting that Russian state actors were responsible for the “dissemination of documents and communications stolen from U.S. political organizations.”

The report said the Russian government used media company “RT to advance its malign influence campaign” during the 2016 election, along with social media platforms to “sow social discord and to undermine the electoral process.”

But the committee found “no evidence that Trump campaign associates were involved in the theft or publication of Clinton campaign-related emails, although Trump associates had numerous ill-advised contacts with WikiLeaks.”

A 38-year-old Virginia Beach, Va., woman was convicted of voluntary manslaughter Tuesday in the screwdriver death of her 65-year-old male roommate, Fox News reports.

The body was found with 40 to 50 stab wounds on March 16, 2017, the Virginian-Pilot reported.

Nicole Foxx borrowed $50 from her roommate, Richard Bielitz, earlier to buy cocaine, and had gone back to his room to get more.

During her trial, Foxx admitted killing the 65-year-old man on March 16, 2017, but claimed it was self-defense. She said she stabbed him after he held the screwdriver to her throat and tried to sexually assault her. She had initially denied any involvement.

Foxx said they were sitting on the bed, and she had started to rub Bielitz’s back, when he forced himself on her. She said she wrestled the screwdriver away and stabbed him to get away. Before fleeing from the room, she said, she took the money he had offered her for the massage.
Judge A. Bonwill Shockley determined there wasn’t enough evidence to convict Foxx of murder, adding that 40-plus stab wounds was “a little bit much for a self-defense case.”

Prosecutors argued that Foxx wanted to steal the roommate’s money so should could buy drugs.

Police photos showed she had and injury to her neck and bruises on her legs, thighs and breasts.

Foxx could get 10 years in prison when she is sentenced in July, versus the 40 years she could have gotten on a murder conviction, the newspaper reported.
