Veterans on the Front Lines of the Fight Against Child Trafficking

Despite a more secure southern border, experts warn that child trafficking and online exploitation remain serious threats inside the United States. One organization working to combat the problem is Veterans for Child Rescue (V4CR), a nonprofit founded in 2017 by former Navy SEAL Craig “Sawman” Sawyer. Sawyer sat down with Alicia Summers to discuss the scope of the problem and how his team works with law enforcement to identify and apprehend child predators.
While international conflicts dominate the news cycle, child exploitation continues to occur quietly within communities and on digital platforms where predators often target vulnerable minors. The organization also works to inform parents about warning signs of online grooming and where children may be most at risk.
